Who we are

What we collect

What you enter in the reservation, kitchen trial, ambassador and launch notice forms: restaurant, hotel, school, shop or company name, type of business, your name, email, prefecture, the quantities and timing you need, how you want the goods imported, your Instagram or website, and your questions.

Why

To confirm reservations and send quotes, arrange kitchen trials, handle ambassador applications, send the launch notice (only if you signed up), and answer your questions.

Joint use

This information is used jointly by Medusa Japan GK and Falk Culinair NV (Belgium), for the purposes above only. Medusa Japan GK is responsible for it.

Sharing

We never sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties without your consent, except where the law requires it.

Service providers

Our website and email servers are run by Hostinger.

Security

Your information is kept on servers with restricted access, and every page is served over HTTPS.

How long

Reservation and trial records: as long as our business with you needs them. Launch-notice sign-ups and consent records: three years after you unsubscribe.

Your rights

To see, correct, stop the use of or delete your information, or to unsubscribe, write to falk@medusajapan.net. We confirm it is you, then act without delay.

Analytics

To improve the site, and only if you agree, we use Google Analytics (Google LLC). With cookies, it sends Google the pages you view, your approximate region and your type of device; never your name or email. You can withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

We also count visits without cookies (daily visits, country, pages viewed, type of device, and the name of the site or campaign that brought you), keeping nothing that identifies you.

Trade reservation

From the first December shipment. Each piece comes with its lid. Nothing to pay now: trade prices come in the quote, based on your quantities and how you want the goods imported.

Minimum order
From one piece. Ten pieces or more are quoted together.
Prices
Trade prices come with the quote; they are not published on the site.
Import, duties and delivery
If Medusa Japan handles import, the quote includes duties, import consumption tax and delivery to your address. If you import yourself, the quote is for collection in Belgium.
Lids
Each piece comes with its lid.
Payment
Once you accept the quote, we send an invoice, payable by bank transfer.
Delivery date
The first shipment is planned for mid-December; the quote gives your delivery date.
Cancelling
Until you accept the quote, you can cancel at any time, free of charge.

A reservation is a request for a quote, not a confirmed order. Terms for shops, wholesalers and groups (price, minimum order, lead time) are sent individually.

Professionals: trade reservations
